Uncompromisingly creative brothers Loral and Ronnel Raphael (pka Sons of Raphael) have announced their graphically titled debut album Full-Throated Messianic Homage. Impressing early on with ambitious tracks including 'A Nation of Bloodsuckers', from their EP of the same name, the pair's first LP will arrive courtesy of Because Music (home to Christine and the Queens, Shygirl, Metronomy and more). Setting a high precedent with its lead track 'Revolution', the duo contemplate complex philosophical concepts from the divine to the spiritual atop of a backdrop of dramatic instrumentation. Sonically enhanced by the incredible mixing talents of the late (great) Phillipe Zdar (Phoenix, The Beastie Boys & Cat Power) 'Revolution' is an exhilarating first taste of what promises to be a truly epic record.
